Description

This is just a VERY long edit I did on the original picture (linked below). As a yuri fan, I like this pairing but this also allowed me to test my skills and get good experience.

Original image: [link] (screenshot taken by me)

Programs Used: Adobe Photoshop CS5 , Paint.net

Please favorite if you like it and comment <3. Any tips that could help me improve are greatly appreciated :)

Hanasaku Iroha is © P.A Works (I wish I owned it though :P)

Edit on 1/7/12: WOW! The picture received its 1000th view today! <3 To me, this is a big milestone and I would like to thank everyone for supporting it :3. In celebration, I am collaborating with a friend and releasing a couple new projects in the next couple days so please look out for that! :D

Well, since your account had been inactive recently, I guess it is not much of a use, but still... some things are bothering me here and as sort of critique / feedback, I try to provide such, even tho it may not reach you.

I have no clue, how long much time you spent on that image nor how much you'd planned to do. But there are the things that jumped right into my eyes.
First, the left girl got a white outline of her natural outline - separating the faces optically. That would not take much of a time to remove those small dot by hand or play with the tolerance at Photoshop.
The kiss (itself) appears odd. the outline of the mouths do not match the natural outline. And the black-haired (girl i suppose) mouth is filled with a solid color, interrupting the color gradient of her skin. A gradient fill at that are would work, since the color doesn't vary much.
A time expensive addition - there is a missing shadow which is supposed to being cast on her face. Well, but it would highly increase the impact of the image.

I don't know if it is on purpose, but the black-haired girl got a wacky neck.
